Intermediate Wheel Throwing is a 6 session course is designed to help you continue to build your skills on the pottery wheel. Emphasis will be on refining your technique, throwing bigger pots and more complicated shapes, and working on your trimming skills to create pots that look more polished.
 
Throughout this course, you will be provided expert demonstrations and personalized attention to help you continue to develop your pottery skills.
 
Please note enrolling students must know how to center clay, raise walls, and create basic vessels and bowls with confidence. 
 
This class comes with a bag of clay, glaze, firings up to 25 pounds, and access to Open Studio hours for self-guided time on the wheel. Students will need to provide their own tools, apron, and hand towel.
 
Refund and cancellation policy:
6 and 8 week classes require a 10 day notice before class begins for a refund, minus a 5% processing fee that we cannot recover.
No refunds will be given after class begins.
For classes with a waitlist, we will refund you up to 24 hours before class if we can fill your spot, but this is not guaranteed.
In this case there will be a 15% cancellation fee to cover our time.
